In this second chapter of Aaron Johnson’s film “Dark and Tender”, ten Black men journey to the Big Island of Hawaii to workshop the touch and listening practices from the Chronically UnderTouched Project. Part cinéma vérité, part elucidated teaching, the film slows down with the men as they reclaim and rebuild platonic intimacy and trust. Holding space for each other, they shake off violent narratives of Black masculinity and seek to restore a vital and basic human need in their lives – tender touch.

Waiting for Godot
by Samuel Beckett
Directed by Rodney Lizcano
Friday, January 30- Sunday, February 22, 2026 | Mainstage Theater
Two wandering tramps, Vladimir and Estragon, wait by a lonely tree, to meet up with Mr. Godot, an enigmatic figure in a world where time, place and memory are blurred and meaning is where you find it. The tramps hope that Godot will change their lives for the better. Instead, two eccentric travelers arrive, one man on the end of the other's rope. Hilarious, heartbreaking, and ultimately deeply moving, WAITING FOR GODOT stands as one of the great achievements in the Western canon of dramatic literature—brought to life in a bold new production by Fox Artistic Director Richard R. Cowden.

The Shark is Broken
Vintage Theatre
January 9–February 15, 2026
Written by Ian Shaw & Joseph Nixon
Directed by Luke Rahmsdorff-Terry
Playing in the Bond-Trimble Theatre.
A Denver premiere!
The first summer blockbuster is being filmed—but no one on set would ever guess it. Dive into the choppy (and hilarious) waters behind the making of a major motion picture, complete with feuding co-stars, unpredictable weather and a notoriously unreliable shark prop.
Movie stars Robert Shaw, Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfuss take center stage as they bond, bicker, drink, gamble and ultimately pray for “Bruce” to start working again. A sharp, behind-the-scenes comedy that celebrates chaos, creativity and cinematic history.
PUF: A Completely Factual and Objective History of The Publick Universal Friend

PUF tells the story of a woman reborn as a nongendered heavenly messenger during the American Revolution, who attempts to prepare humanity for the end of the world. (LOOSELY inspired by true events!)
