ER Productions, a new theater company founded by Ratt Walsh and Emma Maxfield, will make its debut with Stop Kiss by Diana Son at The Storyteller, Aurora's newest black box theater.

The powerful drama follows two women who fall in love in New York City and are forced to navigate the aftermath of a violent act of prejudice. Exploring themes of love, resilience and community, Stop Kiss examines how relationships evolve through trauma and how people find the courage to choose one another in difficult times.

To extend the conversation beyond the stage, local organizations, including the Brain Injury Alliance and Atlantis Community Inc., will host resource tables in the lobby. Post-show talkbacks will also be held Aug. 23 and 28, inviting audiences to engage in meaningful discussions inspired by the production.
