The People’s Building

Michael Brody (formerly of Crested Butte Film Festival) is excited to bring his Spanish-language, short film program, Cinco Cortos, to The People's Building. These five award-winning films (all subtitled in English) have recently played at major festivals like Sundance and South By Southwest. They give voice to the beauty of the Spanish language, and tell intriguing stories on the themes of race, revenge, love, and a more complex rendering of patriotism. All are wonderful, must-see films and they are: Foxhole by Nick Dugan, Pretend I'm Not Here by Noah Amir Arjomand, Trokas Duras by Jazmin Garcia, Marga En El DF by Gabriela Ortega, and La Tierra Del Valor by Cristina Costantini. 

The program is 85 minutes long and is for audiences 12 years and up.
