Loosely inspired by a real 19th-century murderer — the world's most intelligent serial killer -  this show invites audiences into a fever dream of absurd tests, unstable logic, and that gosh darn devil’s music.

Rather than retelling the crime in any straightforward way, Maniac turns judgment itself into a comic spectacle—part ritual, part vaudeville. The result is playful, unpredictable, ridiculous, and just dangerous enough to keep things interesting.
