The Aurora Fox presents LIZZIE, a fierce and captivating rock musical based on the infamous 1892 Borden family murders. In the heat of late summer, Andrew Borden and his wife are brutally killed in their home, and the prime suspect is Andrew’s youngest daughter, Lizzie Borden. Drawing from historical records, LIZZIE explores the tense days leading up to the murders and the trial’s controversial outcome. With a cast of four powerhouse performers, a dynamic live band, and a score inspired by the music of Bikini Kill, The Runaways, and Heart, this production blends raw emotion, historical intrigue, and a pulse-pounding musical experience.
