No Credits Productions LLC and donnie l. betts present the 2026 season of Destination Freedom Black Radio Days Podcast, an audio drama series exploring issues facing communities of color, including housing, immigration enforcement and systemic injustice.
The next installment, “A Letter From a Denver Jail” by Terrance “Big T” Hughes, will be performed live at 7 p.m. Monday, May 19, in the Studio Theatre at the Aurora Fox Arts Center and streamed via KGNU (88.5 FM and 1390 AM) and online.
Directed by donnie l. betts, the work is inspired by the life of Marvin Booker and examines themes of dignity, justice and resistance. The production features Zarah Levy, donnie l. betts, Latifah Johnson and John Furtell, also known as Panama Soweto.
A post-show panel will include Denver Sheriff Elias Diggins, Pastor Reginald C. Holmes, Pastor Carla Coburn, Pastor Mary Tellis and Terrance “Big T” Hughes, moderated by Bro. Jeff Fard.
Written by Hughes, a human rights and social justice advocate, the piece draws from his connection to the Booker family and their pursuit of justice, reflecting on faith, resilience and the fight for human dignity.
