Art, Words & Participatory Projects to Create Change
Discover how young artists are using creativity to inspire change at this exhibition hosted by DAVA. Featuring work by students ages 3 to 18, the exhibition explores local and global issues through printmaking, ceramics, textiles and participatory art installations.
In collaboration with Aurora Civic House Parties, a project of Warm Cookies of the Revolution, DAVA high school students invite visitors to share their perspectives and explore ways to make a difference through interactive art experiences.
Opening Reception: Saturday, July 18, 4 to 8 p.m., in conjunction with Denim for Change, a fundraiser benefiting DAVA, and Aurora Fashion Week. Admission to the gallery reception is free and open to the public. Tickets for Denim for Change are available separately.
